Terms & Conditions for appointments

Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Show Policies:

Please notify me as soon as possible if you decide not to attend an appointment.

Maintaining a structured schedule enables me to provide the highest level of service to all my clients. While I understand that life can be unpredictable, especially for those facing serious health challenges, I must enforce policies that support the smooth running of my small business, ensure availability for those in need of my limited time, and minimize any loss of family income.

Rescheduling: If absolutely necessary, appointments can be rescheduled with more than 24 hours' notice.

Cancellation:

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the appointment will not incur a charge.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will result in being billed the full treatment fee, as agreed upon at the time of booking.

Please note: My clients are limited to three cancellations or reschedules within a nine-month period. Beyond this, future appointments must be prepaid via non-refundable bank transfer. In such cases, the payment will be forfeited if the appointment is further rescheduled or cancelled. Clients who do not agree to these terms may be declined future appointments.

No-Shows: Failing to attend a confirmed appointment will result in being charged the full treatment fee, as agreed at the time of booking.

Client Responsibilities:

Health status disclosure: For your own safety when receiving any form of physical therapy, you must fully disclose information about health issues and/or any medication you take.  All new clients are asked to complete a Health Form before their appointment is confirmed, so that the therapist can check for contraindications (reasons why treatment might not be safe for you or might require modification of technique). Clients are also always asked if there have been any health or medication changes prior to each treatment. Whilst it is your responsibility to disclose this information fully and frankly, I appreciate there may be times you prefer not to discuss your health during a visit (eg when attending relaxation treatments to help you manage health-related stress & anxiety), in these cases, please simply email ahead about any changes to your health or medication.

Payment: Your bill must be settled before you leave the premises. Please pay for your appointments preferably before, or during your visit by bank transfer, cash or a debit/credit card.

Should you decide to leave an appointment early for any reason (eg returning home for a delivery, childcare plan changes etc) you will still be liable for the appointment fee in full as the remaining appointment time cannot be utilised for other clients.

Being on time: Please arrive at the time your appointment is scheduled to start, or a couple of minutes (at most) before that.  I understand sometimes unforeseen circumstances may occur delaying timely arrival, but clients arriving more than 10 minutes after their scheduled appointment start time will necessarily have their treatment time shortened accordingly, so that the appointment still finishes to schedule. Full payment will be due in these cases. If you are running more than a few minutes late and can safely do so, please send a message to advise of your estimated late arrival time.

Respectful conduct: I adhere to the highest standards of ethical, boundary-driven practice, with a zero-tolerance policy for solicitations of any kind. Innuendo, jokes about inappropriate conduct and inappropriate requests will be taken seriously and will result in swift termination of the session.

My policies are in line with local private healthcare and well-being providers (eg dentists, physiotherapists, cosmetic clinics etc) and will be exercised in good faith.
